Flea Market?

I heard through the grapevine that we are getting a 'flea market' at the old Peddler's Mall. Sounds like a parallel move to me. I wonder if we can convince SW residents to not shop there? I think in some ways our vision for greatness gets shot in the foot by the consumer population in the area. Let's face it, as much as we may or may not dislike Peddler's Mall, they are only here because they are profitable. The new location looks very nice by the way (from the outside).

So let me help ben. to understand the meaning of:

Indivdual* Ability to Participate: Become more aware of the qualities,Characteristics and skills needed to "engage" with others to advocate the neighborhood's interest's,and to begin honing and developing those skills in order to better serve the community.

Organization* Partciapate Effectively: Learn how to recognize a community need or aspiration and how to organize a response that involves neighbors and accesses appropriate resources and puplic agencies.

Community* Neighborhood Life: Recognize the "features" that make up a neighborhood-both physical and social-and how residents and community "organizations" can effect those features to ensure good quality of life. Hope the dream team can learn these great vualues that makes neighborhoods work together not focus on the good and over look the bad.

Today is truly a "sad day in Valley Station if this is the future" for us when you have a " leader step down and let in another to take ones place, in leadership. Then have the comments made about peddalar mall and Kohl's, then allow this person be anywhere near leadership. What motive do the dream team have I see many and the wealth that they see for there pockets. Ben made a serious comment and so did Robert about kohl's and peddaler mall, Now you are so proud about what you think know one see in this forum, peddaler and kohl's have seen the comment and they way that your group has been misled and told false information about the future of peddaler mall and kohl's department store's, so today's paper say how you all have misled the paper in the south west jefferson county, I demand that you apologize for the comments about peddaler mall and the comments about kohl's department store, and the truth will be told from you or me...this "will not" come to the Valley Station area. The Valley Station "does not" work with the dream team only there council men does that's it....stop allowing the courier journal to write you work with Valley Station and other part of the communtiy, like the Audurndale association, you only work with ray whitener and he is no longer with the dream team."Dream Team has made a nightmare not a dream for Valley with it's lies" and motive to bring in economical development for South west, The dream team has a,,had a ,, leader who works for a temp service why wouldn't he want to bring or think of bringing in people to hire for there company..Is a no brianer,,there is much motive for this group, just go to there meeting and listen to them,and go to there election's....That's right they didn't tell everyone that they were haven election's,I didn't know about it.Robert told people that the southwest festival ws going to give people there money back with out even talken to the group..hum..then I found out there was only one person from the dream team that signed up for a both..hum..apologize for the lies now............
